Why God brought us Hurricane Rita

So, we've all heard the "theories" about why God brought Hurricane Katrina to NOLA. Using the same "logic", I've come up with my own theory.

Maybe God brought Hurricane Rita to Texas in retaliation for George Bush.

Sounds plausable, no? ;)

So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations. It's real, and that's the reason why we have to intensify our efforts, and that's why this is so important."

[Secretary of Defense William Cohen at an April 1997 counterterrorism conference sponsored by former Senator Sam Nunn. Quoted from DoD News Briefing, Secretary of Defense William S. So another item in the war on terrorism that the bush administration dropped the ball on?

Well, NA, if your theory is correct, God must like GWBush a heck of a lot more than anyone from Louisiana, cause Rita didn't do nearly the damage in Texas as Katrina did there.

Maybe the hurricanes are god's way of saying "Stop this foolish war or I'll bankrupt your damn country".

Or maybe it is just weather. :)
