Which Airport should I fly into??? I still have to buy my plane ticket for MouseAdventure weekend. It will be around $ 200 for round trip, which is alot cheaper than driving to Disneyland. I will be flying down Saturday morning. So which is a better Airport to fly into- LAX or John Wanye?? Thanks-- :D |

John Wayne is far easier and far closer to Disneyland. So unless there's a huge savings by flying into LAX (unlikely), go for John Wayne. Alternately, check Long Beach. Even easier to go out of/into than John Wayne, about the same distance, and often cheaper. |

I was trying to answer the airport question this weekend. For me, LAX looks like the best choice, because I can get direct flights into there. John Wayne required a 2.5 hour layover in the hearland and NO break in price. If I could get a direct flight, I'd choose John Wayne though because it's much closer to the park (Thank you, google maps). |

Also, we've had much better luck with short security lines at smaller airports. No wait at SNA and DSM! |

I love John Wayne airport- it's a much faster drive to DL, and it's much cheaper for a taxi or shuttle. Plus, the take off and landings are fun! |

I personally hate SNA. It feels larger than LAX to me. I adore Long Beach but also like LAX quite a bit. I wouldn't go beyond these three. |
