I LOVE it when that happens.

I love it when I have the Lounge of Tomorrow all big and completely filling up my entire computer screen. And I especially love it when it's filling up my entire computer screen and I turn around just as the Executive Director (my boss' boss) walks behind me.

"Oh, hi Sil!" I smile brightly.

"Hi, Audra. How are you?"

"Working hard, sir. Working very, very hard!!!! Especially after that three-day weekend. Lots to catch up on, and you know me, the early bird gets the leftover pizza pie. I really missed working here over the weekend, you know? I just feel so damned grown up, all job having and being responsible doing my job! Hey, come over here a minute and look at this FABULOUS dress designed by Zac Posen. Do you think your wife would like it, 'cause I"m feeling generous today!"

Actually, I just said, "Good. Good."

And he just said, "That's good."

And, come to think of it, sometimes I walk past his window when he's working at his computer, and I can tell he's not exactly working.

Still, I just LOVE it when I'm caught slacking by el Mucho Grande Jefe. LOVE IT.

What do you love?

Reading about you getting busted at work! ;)

I love a truly spontaneous kiss from the Girl- not just one when she is trying to get something. Of course, I know the time is nigh when I'll be happy for whatever I get, no matter the motivation.

I love it when my mom freaks out while on vacation. Like freaking out that we'll miss the courtesy shuttle to the airport (which runs every 5 minutes) while grabbing some food after dropping of our rental car two hours before our flight. Or yells at my dad for missing a turn because he was too busy paying attention to mundane things like not losing control of the car on an icy road.

LMAO Audra! You should see the panic IMs that go out when the COO comes in our office (seperate from the main office).

I should really turn my avatars off. Someone was in my office the other day, and I had forgotten to minimize LoT, and she said, "hey, that's you!" Oops.

I love it when you call me Big Poppa.

Okay, that is FUNNY stuff. :D Nerdliness in action!

Last night after a party....my sister was telling me about her fiance researching online some islands that they're going to "hop" to when they're in Jamaica this summer. Apparently...he found some travel internet bulletin boards to read and ask questions at.

So my sister doesn't know that I have posted thousands and THOUSANDS of posts on online bulletin boards. Has no clue. She says, "He told me that you wouldn't believe the internet geeks who would bend over backwards to help you out on these bulletins board things! He's taking their advice with a grain of salt...because come on. Who ARE these people?"

 Soooo.......that was my opportunity to come clean. To tell her that I'm one of those internet geeks. I'm one of THOSE people. I post and post. I tell people what I'm eating, what I'm wearing. I post about things I want, things I have. I post about my kids, my husband, my family......and sometimes about her. This was my big chance to come clean. To tell my dirty little secret.

But I just smiled, raised my eyebrows, nodded and calmly drank my cosmo. And then tried to figure out how I was going to explain my July trip to her. :D

Smart choice -- smile, nod and sip. :)

I wonder what she would think about your last trip report (which I thoroughly enjoyed, btw)?

Yes, that was the cruel irony. :o I'm one of them and then some. ;)

Claire-

It might be fun to find out where they are posting and their usernames. Then, you go to that site and register. When you run across an inquiry by them, just say something like "Well, I'm just an internet geek and take what I say with a grain of salt, but..."

:D
