Neato Xmas Lights Video

Tres cool Xmas lights video.
Work safe, but sound is a must.

OK. This guy must work at the company that does lighting for Rock Shows. It is the same technology.

I wonder how many times they do the display during the holidays and do the neighbors get sick of Trans-Siberian Orchestra?

Maybe I was just fooled and this is all computer generated. Much less spectacular that way.

I got bored and went and had a snack

Taht wouldnt' be too hard to fake in editing. On the other hand, it wouldn't be impossible to do it for real either. But I'd hate to be their neighbors. I was sick of the song and lightshow patterns long before the video was over.

Of course, I do get to spend lots of quality time with the Osborne Lights here at the Disney MGM Studios, in the line of duty, so I am pretty well past saturation level with Xmas lights.

I always think that the Osborne Lights thing has to do with Ozzy and Family. Always.

I figured that this was too boring to be faked. I can't imagine living there, or anywhere near there. <shudder>

I've got to admire a person that does what he loves and takes it to the fullist. Pretty cool accomplishment if you ask me. I just don't want my neighbors doing it.

I would be that kind of neighbor...

In elementary school, at Halloween, using a C64, a black & white tv and a good old loud amp - I made a "lightning" display in our front window that had a crowd of people out front for hours.

This is the first year that Rose and I now have a place of our own, and I'm decorating starting Saturday - I might not use the same setup as the guy in the video, but I've got some tricks up my sleeves :D
