Fear worse than the ToT

Well, tomorrow (Thurs) a.m. I'm going to the oral surgeon to have 2 teeth extracted. I'll be put under general anesthesia for around 80 minutes, after which I'll be sent home with a pocketful of painkillers.

Assuming I can speak by Friday, I'm going to go ahead and do the 3rd MousePod show.

Considering my tiny (and usually very sober) brain may very well be pumped full of opiates, it should be very entertaining for all who listen.

Any topic suggestions?

How about playing the loop from the dentist office on Main Street?

Actually, there are other dentist scenes on Disneyland or Disney in general. Isn't there a dentist office in COP? Maybe that's a barber.

Am I helping? ;)

Do you have someone to drive you home from your appointment?

Might be a good idea

Yeah, I have a ride home. However, if someone wants to watch me stagger out of the medical building on Post Street at about 10:00, you might find it entertaining.

And thanks for the suggestion. I've got the audio for the Main Street dentist all queued up. Don't remember a dentist in the COP, though.

How about a segment on characters who talk funny (such as the Giant from Mickey and the Beanstalk). That way you're not a victim of the dentist's chair, you're "in character"!

BTW: like the stuff so far!

McSam, I always chuckle at your posts, even when I think they're meant to be serious. At first I wasn't sure why, but to-night the answer came to me.
Often your words (or tone?) will match the look of the daper guy over in the corner photo, dig? I can actually picture that guy in the white shirt, cocking his head slightly, folding his arms and maybe, resting his foot against an old tree stump, and saying -- "Hey babe, do you have someone to drive you home? Might be a good idea. Hint, hint."

Wally Boag used to do a teeth-spitting bit in the Golden Horseshoe Revue, he did the same bit when he guested on the Muppet Show.
"Pink Elephants on Parade" and "Heffalumps and Woozles" are good "under the influence" tunes.
In "Little Shop of Horrors" there's a very funny song called "Dentist," by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. I'll bet you've heard of them. ;)

Terrific ideas all! This is actually holding my terror at bay!

Just the knowledge that I amuse Tref will carry me to my dying day.

Like the pic, eh? I thought the poofy do was required in swanky surrounding such as these. Plus it was the only pic I have showing me trying desperately to be cool, and failing miserably. So like me.

Hah hah! Don't take offense, McSam. I wasn't mocking the photo. I couldn't be half as suave, trust me. I try for sauve and I get Jerry Lewis.
