My Wedding Swank Has Arrived

Hee-hee! My dress finally arrived!!! Got the box about an hour ago. Here's a crappy pic of it in the meantime:

I am SO beyond excited. :D

OMG! I cannot WAIT to see it. It looks SOOOOO beautiful!!!! And, Scoundrel is being locked up for the viewing. Actually, they all are.

Does Ken get a preview or is it secret?

Oh how cool DP.. it looks gorgeous!!!
I want to know the same thing, is it a surprise?

Hooray!!! It must feel great to have one thing checked off. :snap:

I'll let him see photos of it, but not of me in it, and he can't see the actual dress. He's on his own whether or not he'll unzip the bag. I doubt he would though. He'd rather wait. :)

It actually has plenty of crystals already on it, so I don't need to add a thing to it, but I'm still bringing it to show off at the next stitch & bitch. :D I've got some plastic sheeting to tote with it, so when I try it on, or take it out of the bag, it doesn't touch dust, cat hair, etc. :) (It'll be a miracle to come out of our home without a single cat hair on it, but I'm going to try! LOL!!)

It's just gorgeous. I can't stop looking at it. And, it's mine!!! YAY!!! :)

And, it has an awesome built-in "tummy-tuck" feature that consists of a reinforced front bodice panel, with wide elastic straps that hook in the back, before the dress zips up, so it holds everything in for that perfect "hourglass" shape. It's totally "figure-friendly" without me having to do 10,000 crunches per day until the wedding. ;)

so, you can cut back to????? 9,999? :p

But seriously, I cant wait to see it, and to see this "feature" you describe. I volunteer to vaccum after NA puts the cats under house arrest, and before the dress comes out.

Congrats on the arrival of the dress!! :D

Hehe, I remember being totally amazed at how bullet-proof most wedding dresses were. :) I was so picky I had a friend make the dress for me.

Speaking of which, I'm rather surprised that you allowed someone else to make yours! I'm sure it would have been a huge pain to do though. You've got plenty else to worry about :D

I'm so excited for you! :) :) :)

Yay! Just promise me you won't eventually store it in one of those evil boxes with the plastic window that most dry cleaners push. It makes my inner archivist hurt! And your dress is way too pretty for that.

Wait... you're getting married?!?

How come nobody told me?
