On a serious note, my own Representative, being John Shadegg, was defeated in his bid to take the position.

I wonder if Boehner's state (Ohio) had anything to do with the decision.

This is funny for 2 reasons:

1. He knew people would think his name was pronounced 'Bo-ner' so he clarified the way to say it.

2. Quote: "smaller, more accountable federal government"? Hahahahaha! :D

No, he isn't concerned about boner. I'm guessing he was afraid people would think it was pronounced "bee-ner" and he wouldn't want to be confused for a Mexican.

So now I have to READ the origional post before I comment on it? This could really cut down on my post count.

Anything that cuts down on your post count is a good thing (I implied nothing, I stated it explicity).
