HKDL sold out, this being the busy Lunar New Year tourist week. But many people with multi-day tickets that, like the ones here, are good for 6 months (but don't guarantee entrance on any given day) showed up and weren't happy...so they started clamboring at the gates, some just handing their kids right over the gates into the park.

Hummm, I'm a parent on the outside of the fence... I hand my kid over the fence.... and no-one sees the basic flaw with this plan?

Maybe they are using the flawed logic, "Hey, my kid is in so you have to let me in."
