Top 5 desired albums

I go through phases of wanting stuff. Sometimes the list is long, other times I don't want anything. But, I'm waiting for a few things to either be released or to just end up in my hands at Fingerpritz or somewhere. Here's my top 5 (or so)

What's yours?

Carmen Rizo - The Lost Art of the Idle Moment
Sergio Mendes - Timeless (Remixes)
Belle & Sebastian - Funny Little Frog
Ursula 1000 - Here Comes Tomorrow
Herb Alpert - Whipped Cream and other Delights Rewhipped

Feh, I don't even have a Want list. That's how musically pathetic I am right now.

I seem to be going through a period of wanting my older music, stuff I used to have on vinyl but haven't replaced yet.

I never replaced my old Pretenders stuff. I need to do that.

I like your list - but I also want the New Gram Rabbit that's expected to come out in April. I think there's another Real Tuesday Weld - and then there's We are Scientists - which Eliza seems to be liking...Oh, and the new Sheena Ringo/Tokyo Jihan (Thanks Jesse)...

That's only 4. You need one more before we hit the streets.

Some kind soul around here recently provided me with a copy of the Lene Lovich album "No Man's Land." (hint - it was someone from San Francisco who runs a Disney related podcast.) Way many thanks!

There are a few compilation albums I have been trying to track down:

Music From The Deaf Club
Urgh! A Music War
Frank Johnson's Favorites (Ralph Records)
Subterranean Modern (also from Ralph)

For a fifth, I might add the Live from CBGB's comp, which I know was released on CD a long while ago and which I kick myself for not having grabbed up.

Once I get back to Florida, I'll have to hit up Rock and Roll Heaven. (Are you listening, HTHBellcaptain?)

I think I have the first one and I was at the LA show of the second. Does that help?

Maybe if you visit me I'll give you gifts. ;):p

Hey Flippy... next time you're in San Francisco, you're welcome to raid the vinyl vault here at Casa de MousePod.
