Word Spellcheck broke

So I go to write one of my many papers and discover that my spell checker no longer works. I already tried the 'repair'. Short of installing Word is there anything I can do?

Any idea when the last time it worked was, or what you might have installed since it worked last?

No clue :(

I haven't installed anything recently. I checked the options, and it is working in Outlook (powered by Word).

I'm clueless.

Is it not workign when you hit the {check abc} button, or not showing spelling errors in the document?

If the latter - there's an option (under options - Spelling and Grammar) the second one "Hide spelling errors in this document" - make sure that's not checked.

Otherwise, no clues.

Can't help with getting it to work in Word, but as a short term solution you could use this site:

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Alex, thanks for the link.

It appears I am going to have to re-install MS Word. Happy fun times YAY!

Just do a repair install. At Add/Remove Programs, click the "Change" button. Then, click "Reinstall/Repair". :)
