Help me spend $27.21 on Amazon.com!

I took a 4-cup container of loose change to the Coinstar machine today and now I've got a gift certificate for $27.21 to Amazon.

What should I buy?

MouseWife 03-05-2006 12:42 PM

Music or books!!!

Matterhorn Fan 03-05-2006 12:47 PM

Gee, that's not very specific!

I think the most difficult thing is that it is ONLY $27. I'm better at spending 50 or 100. ;)

Matterhorn Fan 03-05-2006 01:10 PM

Well it doesn't have to come out exact. (But $100 is more than I want to spend right now.)

I recommend that you get Kafka on the Shore and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle together for $26.72

Matterhorn Fan 03-05-2006 01:20 PM

What do I get with the $.49 leftover? ;)

Are there Taco Bells in Florida?

Well. Re-thinking...you have a lot of books already, don't you? Although I have been recommended a book called 'Kite Runner'. Can't wait to read that.

Or, as far as movies, have you picked up 'Lady and the Tramp' on DVD? I haven't and I really want to.

Music. Are you a Pearl Jam fan? You can save your $$ until their next cd comes out. Don't think it is too far down the line. Otherwise, I don't think we like the same music. I do like what I've heard from 'She Wants Revenge'. Heard of them? Or the latest 'Strokes'.

Having just passed Mardis Gras, I have been listening to a lot of Louis Armstrong.

And, if you liked the movie 'Jarhead', my son read the book and I am glad he did because after I watched the movie I asked him a lot of questions. So, that might be an interesting read.
