Survivor Tonight!

Just a reminder to those that follow the show that Survivor is on tonight, rather than its usual Thursday slot. I can't tell from the previews if this is a real show or just one of those "extra scenes" type of show. It seems a bit early in the season for one of those but who knows. Next week, there isn't a show, so I hope there is at least some substance to tonights episode. (Assuming that there can be any sort of substance to a reality show. :) )

ooh, that's right. thanks for the heads up!

yeah, last week's preview looked as if it might be a season recap.

but, i will check it out.

thanks again.

You know, I really liked Bobby. Sure he was an idiot, but at least he was straight up about it.

Bobby bugged the snot out of me. I am also tired of Terry. He is sososooo full of himself, I can't wait to see him get voted off, the look on his face will be priceless.

I am pulling for Bruce, he is quirky and fun to watch.

Don't count on it...he's got the hidden immunity idol.

Can someone give me a recap of last night. After starting this thread...I forgot it was on.

Las tnight was one of those "previously unseen moments from the first 15 days of Survivor" episodes. You missed nothing other than a synopsis of the happenings thus far in the season.

And a few good extra clips, like Misty pathetically trying to stick to her "I found the immunity idol" story and Sally totally suckering Austin in with her "My parents disowned me 'cause I got a divorce" (okay, I don't know that she was playing him...but it certainly did the trick). But nothing of substance.

Go Sally!

I never understood that strategy. KNowing that the person with the immunity idol can use it after the vote, I would immediately vote for anyone I knew had it. Therefore they would have to use it and lose it, and I would be on an equal playing field again. Why would you want people to think you have it? It makes them more likely to vote for you, would it not?

Because you put yourself at risk. Remember, if they use the hidden immunity idol, whoever gets the second most votes goes. So anyone that is slightly insecure and thinks they might have votes coming their way would certainly want to encourage others to NOT vote for the person with the immunity idol, else they would be risking being caught in the wake. Same reason no one's risked a tied-vote since about season 4 when the deciding factor became random.
