Come on everybody - Here We GOOO!!!

Mar 30 1968

Two children in the Bowery come across the body of a homeless drug addict later identified as Bobby Driscol, 31, the voice of Disney's "Peter Pan".

:(

The guy who was the male lead in 'Babes in Toyland' became homeless several years after that film, too. I wonder why?
:(

Jodie Foster and Kurt Russell turned out okay...

Yes, and poor lovely little Matthew Garber came to a bad end as well. Karen Dotrice turned out okay, too.

:( I had no idea either. Here's more info:

I wonder if any of this had to do with fame early in life, or if it's just a coincidence, and we notice it more when it's someone we "know".

okay, this is better info than I had. So I revise, poor lovely Matthew Garber did not come to a bad end, but a tragically young end. I only found this out by watching the extras on the Poppins DVD. I'm relieved, as far as this reports, that it was not yet another in a long line of former child actor drug-related ends. Nevertheless, so sad, he was an adorable boy. This reminds me, is The Three Lives of Thomasina on DVD?
