satiety
without joy

without gratitude

You alter the landscape effecting both above and below

Others may find it frightening, fascinating, or forgettable

Children might not understand why you would do such a silly thing
You might find your river to merely be a stream

You adapt while attempting to control the flow and let mind alter reality
Out of hubris...
