I wish I were kidding

Really, I do.

I saw the trailer for this last week, and I thought "Why?"

That cracks me up. I'll definitely netflix that. Hey, I love Garfield, I love Tale of Two Cities, perhaps combined it will be twice as good. Okay, probably not. I really loved the old cartoon show, Garfield and Friends. That rocked.

But Tim Curry and Billy Connolly are in it!

The first one was horrible, of course the Munchkin loves it so I've had to watch it many more times than I wuld have liked (which is none). She can't wait for the next one - I may jump off a cliff.

The deal with these Garfield movies is that they're about 10 years too late. I mean, he was more popular in the late 80's and early 90's. I know the CG capability wasn't around back then, but 'Roger Rabbit' did just fine without...

We're overly excited about this movie!
Have been for over a month. :)

Yes, they're dumb.... but I have a soft spot for lasagna eating cats in bad movies.

In the random muie musings thread, I said it was possible to make any movie look good. I was simply wrong. I saw the trailer for this and I was horribly, horribly wrong.

Wouldn't waste a cent on it.

And this from someone who appears to have liked MASTER OF DISGUISE!
(A movie I had to bail on, albeit not in the theater.)

Or is that poster in your avatar just a message to those stalkers awaiting your arrival? (You're safe from me, I'm 3000 miles away.)

Never had the (dis) pleasure of seeng it. As you suspect, it is a message to those stalkers that they will never find me.
