Well, this is it, end of the line

my last day at the soul sucking job. Whopee, I made it, survived!
No clue what is next on the horizon, job wise, but in just under 4 weeks, I will be home again and holding an AP! Whee!:snap:

Yay! No more soul suckery! Congrats! :)

LSPoorEeyorick 06-05-2006 07:57 AM

Whee! I'm so happy for you, lady!

Please remember to take your soul back from your job when you leave!

Congratulations!

Fantastic! Now, to get your boss out of there and into something a bit more fulfilling. I know you'll find something in SF. I can't wait to have you local-ish!

Well, he has 3 job offers pending, now all he needs to do is make the leap off the ledge. It's only going to get worse here. He's mega depressed today, he can't even talk to me. Anyway, I will continue to needle him by phone every day until he leaps!

So there's one less bitter-east-coast'er round these parts eh? Sigh, the dark hand of isolated depression tightens it's grip on me just a wee bit more.

I'll try and keep a positive point of view, but I expect the blackness will occasionally seep into my posts as I reflect on how alone I am out here....

Oh and don't forget the help wanted ads on craigslist.org not only can you find pieces to missing board games but is it a VERY VERY VERY good place to find that next job. Especially in it's hometown of SF.

Good Luck!

I love how "Bitter East Coaster" has taken on a life of its own--I think this needs to be added to the Lexicon of Swank. (I'll have to work on the entry.)
