You need one just as much as I do.

(seriously - do you remember that toy? I've never seen it - but neato!)

OMG - I had forgotten about those.

We didn't have one, but a friend did. You spend most of your time setting it up and trying to get everything aligned. Actually dropping the balls was often anti-climactic. Of course you had to get additional bouncy drums (although if I recall correctly, we found/made our own as well). We got tricky and did reverses (where the ball hit one of the drums and bounced back along the same route)

I remember this game, but didn't own it. It wasn't made by Mattel. ;)

I likes watching the Kenner SSP commercials that followed. I had lots of Hot Wheels SSPs. I believe they were called Sizzlers. Or maybe that was the chargable ones.

OMG! the clips end with a Masterpiece commercial! I LOVED that game and remember that commercials very well!

Damn.

On a related but rambling side note; I realized I have adopted a jungle from a coffee comercial to call for Buster. All I remember was that it involved a perculating sound that I can't recreate here. DodododoDOdo dododoDOdo. I can't remember what the product was but it has suddenly reappeared in my brain to use when looking for Buster to give him hid meds.

It is true, you have certainly adopted a jungle.

That's Maxwell House you're thinking of. On the page linked below, you can hear a very seventies version of that jingle, but it dates way back to the old radio days.
