'As Time Goes By'
 

This may very well be the only post in this thread, but what the heck.

One of my favorite shows on TV is 'As Time Goes By'. My all-time favorite actress, Judi Dench is in it. Love her love her. Geoffrey Palmer is also in it, he's a superb British actor that I adore as well.

Ralphie went on a trip for the last 5 days and I indulged in a 'ATGB' marathon via Netflix. I watched all 8 episodes from Season 6. (He haaaates this show. :D )

Yeah, the theme song is corny and some of the acting is not great, but I love this show. It good food for this old soul.

I recommend it, if anyone wants to have something really mellow to watch.

During one of the episodes, I had a cup of tea and sat on my couch with my Welsh Corgi. :D

One of my favorite shows ever. I netflixed the whole series at one point. It's corny occasionally but I just love it. Lionel's dad Rocky is my absolute favorite.

I want to be Rocky when I get old.

I love how the show is about every day kind of stuff. It's not elaborate or extreme from week to week. They never feel like they have to keep uping the ante.

And, boy, do they know how to get you with touching moments! They spring up when you least expect it. It's all so well done...

I agree, they never stoop to the gimicky stuff. Just basic every day conflicts. Oh and Jean's in-laws are just the best. Steven just cracks me up every time.
