The late great Paris trip photos
|
Oh man - do those photos bring back memories! I need to brave international travel again and go back. Ooooh! I'm so jealous! (It's La Tour Eiffel, btw - not le.) Thanks for sharing! I love the metro. It might smell like pee, and the workers go on strike with regularity, but most of the time it gets you where you're going in a prompt and efficient manner.

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen these myself. I hope this inspires others to post old trip photos they never got around to before.
GD used a free download to make these pages quickly and easily. http://www.ornj.net/ Now you have no excuse! ;) except maybe the lack of server space...but how can you be on the net without some server space, somewhere? |
This one from ornj.net isn't bad. Really simple and straight forward, thought I give it a shot. But I think I prefer the one I used for the Alaska trip (www.jalbum.com). The end result is MUCH more customizeable with that one.
Oh, and I know no French, especially not the definite articles. Obviously. |
Ah, ok, i didn't realize you used two different programs.

I've heard rave reviews about Gallery, and is what I'll be using when I get my stuff up and running.

Fantastic photos! I'm not finished yet, but I had to pause since you're taking pics of one of my favorite eras in design, art nouveau (pre-deco). Hommage to nature in all forms, art nouveau was amazing and gorgeous (like the wonderful old Paris Metro station entrances). Okay, back to Paris for me! :D

It's so great to see Montmartre again. That was "our" neighborhood for an entire week and it became home. I know those shops! I'm ready to go back.

hee hee - I love how GD & CP communicate through a message board.
Oh, Pari' - I will try to get our Paris '04 pics up once report card season is over. Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip. |
