Summer at the Holywood Bowl
 

We finally got our first tickets for the Bowl this summer. We're going to see Belle and Sebastian and The Shins next Thursday.

Of course, that got us looking at the rest of the offerings and now temptation reigns.

Tempting concerts include:

Gotan Project, Zero 7 - 8/27
Massive Attack - 9/24
Bollywood Night - 7/16

There's nothing like summer nights at the Bowl.

We're going to be there in August for the Fantasia performance.

Many many good shows there, too... I'm looking forward to the Zero 7 stuff... I love their new CD, The Garden...

The FL show looks great too, but we're seeing them that Saturday in SF. Nener nener nener. :evil:

I O'deed on Hollywood Bowl last year (heheh, even while accidentally missing one show by going to a cemetery screening), and I have also become addicted to decent seats which can only be gotten the first day of sale.

So even though there were a few things that caught my eye this season, I've decided to skip a year. The boat having sailed on good seats, my resolve is that much easier to keep.

Actually, the Bugs Bunny show looks appealing. I always loved Carl Stalling's music.

Hmm, maybe I'm actually geekier than the internet tests would suggest. :)
