...you find a squirrel skull in your freezer.

I'm getting ready to make dinner and I get my crowbar and icepick and go through our overpacked freezer. I look for the frozen salmon that we got from Costco and find other things instead. Ice cream, frozen bagels (also from Costco), white fish from Trader Joe's, buffalo burgers, squirrel skull in a plastic bag, frozen orange juice, ice...

You know, several years ago, I would have been all 'Holy Jesus on a pogo stick! What the hell is this? I can't believe it!' but now I'm all 'That's nice'.

He found it in a park near us the other day. Decomposing dead squirrel. After several days of watching it rot, and after the sun bleached it perfectly, he collected it. Said it was a perfect specimen. Froze it to kill some bacteria thingamajiggies.

He's going to preserve it and take it to work.

I'm at the Apple store, getting "serviced" and I just laughed out loud. Now I'm embarassed and trying to explain myself.

You're getting "serviced" at an apple store and you're worried about explaining *laughter*?!

Well, if she is getting serviced, it doesn't sound like there is much else to worry about!

And you know you live with Jeffrey Dahmer when you find chicken skull in your freezer.

I added something of my own to the freezer. I found a bug that looks like a furry centipede crawling on our door. It's tiny, but has many, many legs. We both have no idea what it is. We're going to show it to our friend who studies bugs.

No bug will ever live in my freezer!!

Now that I've publicly said that my son will become enamored by bugs and guess what I'll have in my freezer:eek:

I don't think I could live with a scientist if that's what it entails. I'd much rather have all the computer parts and pieces that come with living with a computer geek! Even that drives me nuts though!
I would freak if I thawed something out for dinner and found it to be a skull, bug, etc....
