How is this guy even alive?

I've heard about things like this. there was a video around for awhile of a guy who hooked a barracuda that launched itself at him and ripped him wide open. he too lived but the fish was like a flying chainsaw as it came towards him.

yeah, I'll stick to bluegill and trout thanks. worst I ever got from those was a hook in my thumb.

And people wonder why why fish skeeve me...

That would hurt soooo bad. And there's salt water involved.

I'd figure the guy probably went into shock, which sort of blocks pain, doesn't it?

Yes. When I cut my knee open (72 stitches) I didn't feel it. I was in shock.
