Personally... I think it's a coincidence and this guy's totally overreacting.

Here's a story with a picture: http://www.pickledpolitics.com/archives/35

Personally, I'm offended that Allah would take a name that looks like an ice cream cone.

That's wierd... the link I used used to have a picture with it. Odd.

All the more proof. Clearly they purposely altered it just enough for plausible deniability. They need to change their signs to "Billions Insulted".

After reading that, I don't know how I could roll my eyes back any farther.

I find it ridiculous that anybody truly got upset by it, but I am also very amused that an abstract drawing of an ice cream cone produced a result that looks like "Allah" when tipped on its side.

I'm a decade removed from my college Arabic classes but I would have still been able to recognize it if someone had pointed it out to me.

Ditto. I had never seen the Allah symbol before (that I can remember) and was stunned at the resemblance in the picture. But upon further examination of the ice cream cone, the picture really did look just like an ice cream cone. Life is funny.

I don't see how Burger King had any choice but to change it. I didn't even know BK sold ice cream cones.
