Okay: I gotta boast a wee bit
I'm not sure that this really needs to be posted in public. But you are all our friends and wanted to share.
About 4-1/2 years ago, Susan and I realized that our debt had become unmanagable for us (over $26,000 in unsecurred debt). Instead of filing for bankruptcy, we signed up with Springboard, a non-profit debt counseling service. They worked out payment plans with our creditors and put us on a budget. I am very happy to say that recently we made our last payment (it was $540 a month) and last week we received our "congratulations: you did it!" letter. One huge-assed monkey off our backs! |
Congratulations on your fiscal responsibility! That is a very difficult thing to do.

WOW! That's wonderful! Congratulations!

Congrats! That is a big deal! In a day and age where our society tells everyone to go SPEND, SPEND, SPEND! And use those high interest rate credit cards! |
And now that you're finally out of debt, you can afford to spend spend spend again!
|
Surely something to be most proud of. Big congrats!!!!
|
Congrats, and you didn't even have to move in with your parents to do it!
|
Congrats! I'm very proud of you!
