I once sh*t lightning after eating an Indian meal of tandoori chicken, but that's a whole different story..

ICK. :( :p

That story actually scared the daylights out of me. Lightning once struck our neighbor's home across the street years ago when I was living at home. I was in college at the time and studying, and suddenly I heard a deafening crash. The light that flashed through my closed window blinds was actually, well blinding.

When I ran outside, the street was SMOKING. The neighbor's palm tree was on fire. And everybody on the block's computers & TV's were SHOT. Our bigscreen was operable, but now with a lovely tinted green screen. We all lost power, and maybe our minds a little that night. :( THANK GOD, however, that the most important thing of all occured- nobody was struck.

Yeah, it can be pretty amazing. I once had lightning strike ground about 30 feet away from me and a group of friends. It is pretty amazing that close.

Right before Hurricane Iwa hit, there was a lot of thunder and lightning. A bolt hit the middle of our school's playground area. I was about 50 feet away. It's amazing how fast and bright it is. After it happened, everything around us felt static-y. Weird. Since it was raining, no one was where it hit... thankfully.

I find this story more frightening than funny.

I think the guy who ate 247 jalapenos in 8 minutes might challenge her to "Most Inflamed Rectum Ever"

This thread makes me want to stand really close to lightning without getting hit. Poor woman. Not only does she get hit by lightning, but she also becomes know as the woman with the electric ass.
