The National Birmingham Roller Club's current president is located in Los Angeles. You all should arrange a meet down there to watch them fly. Here are photos of some of the celebrity pigeons you might see.

Reminds me of the time we went camping otuside of San Diego and woke up to find that a falconers' group had taken over the camp grounds overnight. "What the hell is that screaching noise?!" It was bizarre, they sat around and talked about their birds like they were cars.

Anyone, someone needs to loan the Birmingham Rollers some apostrophes.

Sometimes I wonder if the advent of the internet is a good thing, or a bad thing. There's a thread on that message board about "sexing rollers".

I had one of those as a kid. My dad collected show pigeons. Thousands of dollars worth. Boy was he pissed when my brothers pet wolfdog (85% wolf) ate them all. Weird thing to collect, but that's my dad for you. They were fun to watch and would always come back home.

Those groups sure talk about **** alot.
