MILF at the Magic Kingdom
 

It has been a longstanding practice for cast members, management, and increasingly, fans, to refer to Disney attractions by convenient acronyms. (HISTA, 20K, etc.) Soon, Tomorrowland will be opening a new attraction, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor! Check out that acronym. Yep, it's already being referred to as MILF by the cast.

This will be a show using the Turtle Talk technology to create a comedy club, with lovable monsters giving stand-up routines, the better to power their city. I've got to wonder if the good folks at WDI saw this acronym coming or not.

I think the show is a great idea-- but man, that NAME is not!

I read somewhere (but don't know if it's true) that the group who responds to ride breakdowns at DL was called the "Fast Action Response Team" and they had F.A.R.T. painted on the side of the trucks until someone noticed. they then changed the name. I find it hard to belive, and I'm sure it's one of those urban legands, but it is funny. :rolleyes:

And I suppose if you had been on the team a long time, you'd be an Old FART! :D

Okay, so what's the delay with MILF? I heard that I won't be able to get in to see it over marathon weekend.

According to Mark, the previews weren't testing well. So they're looking at show tweaks.
