Disney possessed an uncommon imagination and gift for the graphic arts that resulted in him covering his Red Cross ambulance completely in cartoons during the war. When the war ended, Disney wrote the featurette, “Alice in Cartoonland,” with his brother, Roy, and then started his own production company.
