Here's what it would have looked like if the second or third prize winners designs had been successful.

2nd place looks like it might have been interesting, but zoinks does 3rd place look boring as all sin. But all-in-all, seems like picking the winner was an easy decision to make.

The Sydney Opera House is definitely a place you have to see in person, inside and out it's amazing.

And how I would have loved to have been in Sydney Opera House when Dame Joan Sutherland was in her prime, zoinks, that would have been an amazing experience!

Zoinks, I'd love to go to Australia. Zoinks.

This would be fun to do (compare runner-ups) to a bunch of the world's most iconic structures.

I'm sure glad more aesthetic minds prevailed in Sydney.
