BUFFALO, N.Y. - This Christmas, a family here may keep a closer eye on their statue of baby Jesus.

Last year someone plucked it from the nativity scene in their front yard and spent eight months traveling the state, returning it complete with plenty of photos of where it had been.

The Whole Story.

I'm looking for the photos that were included in the book.

Well, I would say "Thank God," but that would be redundant...

Someone stole an expensive potted palm from from her front pourch. I wonder if it will come back with photos, a foot taller, and and baby palms at it's base?? :D

The Vatican just announced that that was the first time Jesus had been anywhere near Poughkepsie.

And isn't that just like the baby Jesus -- he goes to Poughkeepsie and all we get is a lousy photo album.

This seems to be a growing trend. I know a certain family containing a super geek and a feather duster have a running gag about stealing the baby Jesus from the family nativity. I've heard of many people taking odd toys/objects around the world for photos. It's an odd concept to me.

Flat Stanley, Gnomes, Baby Jesus, Lawn Flamingos; they all travel more than I do. :(

I'm working on a variation of this trend where I take myself to far off places all over the globe and take photographs. I have yet to go to Poughkeepsie though, so Baby Jesus has that on me.
