RIP, Godfather of Soul

The hardest working man in show business has taken his final encore.

A pioneer in music no doubt. RIP

Wow, what a shock.

He was definitely an innovator, creating the genre of funk and soul. Had his share of problems, for sure, but left a heck of a legacy.

RIP, James.

Aw, sad. I'll be sure to queue up Let's Make Christmas Mean Something This Year sometime today, in tributational memorium.

Not singing "I feel good" today, I suppose.

MouseWife 12-25-2006 11:58 AM

Oh, I bet he is. :snap:

;)

RIP James

The other night, Bornieo and I had a great laugh at James Brown's expense, now I feel kind of weird (not good).

Tref 12-27-2006 03:19 PM

This just in, James Brown, does not feel good.

And he knew that he wouldn't...

Quote:

"He was having pain before, but then the pain went away and he told me 'I'm going away tonight,"' Charles Bobbit, Brown's personal manager and longtime friend, told reporters.
