Sounds like this guy's complaints were mostly about staying off-property and the crappy Hilton hotel and staff.

Crowds at Christmas? What a shock. If he'd done a teensy bit of research, he could have had a much better vacation. Thank god for people like him who take their family out of the parks by 3pm. That's why the evenings are much more manageable.

No kidding. He could have read up for like an hour and discovered not to try and stay all day at a park that has early entry. Either go till 10 and hop, or go to a different park altogether. A travel writer should know to do some freaking research.

I particularly liked the way he was "club room" this and "concierge" that. I mean, I love to fly first class and all, but I don't get a hotel room on points and the argue for upgrades and then complain about what I get, and THEN complain that non-Disney staff aren't up to his Disney spit-and-shine standards. He has some potentially legitimate gripes (like the room not being ready at 10pm), but he comes off as so astoundingly clueless that I have a hard time taking him seriously.

It's odd to me that a travel writer has apparently not read any other travel writers.
