TV special on great Superbowl commercials
 

Since we just noticed this and I'm looking forward to it, I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else doesn't happen to hear about it.

They're doing a one-hour special on the greatest commercials aired during past Superbowls. In the Los Angeles area, it's being shown on channel 2 on Friday, February 2 from 9-10pm. I'm presuming it'll be shown in other areas as well, but check your local listings for day and time, and I'm figuring it'll be shown on whatever channel is showing the Superbowl itself in your area.

I'm hoping they show the Apple (I think it was Apple) "1984" commercial - haven't seen that in ages - but I hope they don't show any of the commercials that made me cry.

Thanks for the heads-up. The main reason we watch the Superbowl is for the commercials.

Yep - it was Apple. This is how they launched the Macintosh.
