Valentine's Day is a waste of my time
As history has repeatedly shown
Lovers who always turned into losers
Every year a disappointment
Not a single effort appreciated
Too selfish was my audience
Ignorant and careless of the hurt
Now I have learned my lessons
Eventually I got it in my head
Swine do not deserve my pearls

Dedicating myself to those that I love
Applying my affections to my family
Yearning for nothing from those empty days

dunno yer current situation but, don't give up looking for someone who will apriciate who you are.

It's such A Presure filled Holliday for both sexes it's unfair to all but those who don't need a forced occasion to make gestures of affection.

I sent a letter complaining to Halmark about the crass commercialization of St. Valentines day last year ; but they sent me back such a nice apology card I just coulden't stay mad.
