Lashbear... What A Pain In The.....
Well, I just had a "nice" 4 day stay in hospital because of chest pains.
The blood troponin levels in the 3-4 tests over the weekend all indicate no damage happening in the Myocardium (Heart Muscle Tissue) indicating that the pains are likely not from a heart attack. From every indicator so far (including an alarming demonstration of laxative use  ) the pains seem to be related to Gastric Reflux or similar osophageal origin. (Looks like I'll be having a nice cold scoop of Pepto Bismol Icecream with that Corn Dog) Two more tests to go, this time a resting and a stress test using dye to show the blood delivery to the heart muscle. It will show that the blood supply to the heart is normal. Then we will not have to cancel any portion of the trip. Yay. Then it's off the the Gastroenterologist. Le Sigh. I hope I don't end up with a Ham replacing my osophageal sphincter. Love & Missed you all ! -Rob. |
Sending GOOD ENERGY your way Lashy

Whew. Gastro stuff is no fun ... but it sure beats (more) heart trouble. Sheesh, even without your history, I absolutely go into heartattack panic mode when any kind of internal pain happens (likely gastro-related) or numb stuff happens (likely nerve-related).
Lash, I'm sending well-wishes through the ether, across the wide Pacific. Be well. Be well. Oh, and be well. |
Damn it we have plans for you - so you know we're thinking good thoughts. Stay healthy bear.

Stay well!

So sorry to hear this-- hang in there, and get well!
Also, Pepto ice cream? Creme Anglese notwithstanding, eww. |
Wow, glad you are ok! Speedy recovery!

Lashy, sending you much good vibes and good thoughts and hope for a speedy recovery. Grateful as heck it's not a heart attack, but sorry it's gastro.
{{{Be well my friend!}}} |
Hope you feel better.
