I was just poking around youtube and found these great of home movies from Disneyland.

A brief view of the MBC, old sub ride, Tomorrowland as I remember it best, the ever popular Peoplemover and much more.

I have seen this one, and love it because it shows the greatness of a family vacation to Disneyland. I know people on message boards are tired of hearing this but...... I want the PeopleMover back! :sad: In a Veruca Salt kinda way.:blush:

Another thing I noticed - there's no abundance of SUV-sized strollers. How on earth did those poor people cope without them back then? ;)

I can't wait to bring my Eddie Bauer stroller retro-fitted with squirt guns on the handlebar and spikes on the wheels. :evil:

Back then they were more sensible. For example: the whiney liberal parentazis had not yet decided it was automatic child abuse to leave your toddler locked in the car with the windows cracked while the more mobile part of the family had some age appropriate fun.

Those were the good old days when my mom could leave three kids in the car, with it running, while she ran into the Minut Mart for some cigarettes, leaving us with instructions not to touch the stick on the steering wheel. (Also the good old days where if she didn't feel like getting up early on a Sunday she could send me to the store with a note authorizing me to buy cigarettes for her.)

Ya know, there was a time not long ago, that you were lamenting the stroller issue alongside me. :p At least it's just Eddie Bauer. If it were one of those really large Jeep monstrosities, I'd have to make a few adjustments to it for you with a chainsaw. ;)

Yep, I do remember that.:blush: Oops. I didn't realize this was a sensitive issue I was just having a little fun with all the stroller threads.

Heh heh- my mom used to send me to the store with a note for cigs all the time. When I was 10 I started smoking and forging notes for myself. Ah, the good ol' days.......

Oh yeah -- Peoplemover MUST return. I love watching these films and seeing not only the hustle and bustle of Tomorrowland, but the levels of movement. That's what made it seem like an actual Land of Tomorrow! Plus, it was cool to ride the Peoplemover and feel like you got a backstage look at some of the rides, buildings, etc.
