Meet the Robinsons?

Will it be playing at the El Capitan for the opening weekend (i.e., same weekend as the great and amazing technicolor Lashbear & Stoat meet)?

I'm certainly interested in seeing it, and was checking out the soundtrack at amazon. I thought it was pretty cool they did a cover of There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow, it's touches like that that make me happy.

The only way I'm seeing this is if I was either really, really, REALLY drunk, or someone dug up my freshly buried corpse and propped me up in front of the screen.

Really? I've missed any buzz on this (or maybe I've lost my ability to have a decent movie BS filter)

So I guess it's safe to count you out if there is a swanking?

He's just dropping hints that he wants you to get him really, really, REALLY drunk.

Well, I guess that can be fun, too.

I'm curious but have misgivings. I don't find the character designs too appealing, especially not in the poster art. CG humans tend to have a doll-like quality, and these are sort of awkward to boot. That won't matter too much if the story is engaging. We'll see.

I do very much appreciate the references to old Tomorrowland, and if this picture is a success, maybe that will help bring a little of that old school flair back. (Like a PeopleMover? Please?)

I am with you 100% here Flippyshark. I'd love to see the Peoplemover tracks restored and those familiar trams back moving in and around Tomorrowland. Of course, I suspect there would have to be some re-routing given unless we can ride through, and still would not be the same as riding and looking down upon the queue for Adventure Through Inner Space.

I just don't dig the wonderful designs of the House of the Future and Space Mountain being made the butt of a joke - like any of these chuckleheads could design anything 1/50th the icon...

Clearly I've missed all of this. I guess I'll be seeing this alone.
