I'm so there!

Hmm, I tend to find that books entail a lot of reading. And that is just not for me. Even my beloved picture books will sometimes use words to describe an action being shown in the drawing or photo -- as if we did not all ready know what was going on! This tends to needlessly weigh the book down and in turn, allows publishers to charge more for the book (especially, if you like me, you tend to purchase books by weight).

Granted I am quite keen on the pop-up variety of book. But where are the Festivals of Pop up Books?

Exactly. Nowhere to be seen.

As most of you are aware I am entirely illiterate and it is only by chance that what I am now typing is forming actual words and sentences -- and in turn, acting as carriers of my inner-most thoughts. At least, that is what I dhydhsj. nk4wood? Ahdshdjrkkls ghgj sl;lsee dfg hj hbmf!

In short, I will be attending the Festival of VHS tapes next door.

I'll be going but haven't decided what day yet. Need to check out who will be there! Thankfully no booth this year!

Will be there on Sunday... Anyone want to meet up?

Michael Barrier will be there too, in a panel discussion. He just finished an autobiography on Walt Disney, "The Animated Man: A Life of Walt Disney".

Really?!?!?! Both days or just the one?! Depending on what panels I attend, I may go both days. It will be so good to see you.

I'll have to check the schedule. I love this event but I haven't been able to get there for a few years. And if some swanky people are there...
