Anyone else thinking/planning on going to Comic-Con this year? I'm giving some heavy consideration, though I won't know entirely how I feel about it until around mid-June-ish.

Just throwing my feelers out there, to see if I can justify yet another weekend doing fun things as opposed to buckling down and doing work, as I should be doing.

I want to go - just because it's been so damned long since I went to the big event, and I had a bunch of fun at the lil local one a few weeks back.

I will be there as ususal. If you all are planing on staying down there, there are really no hotels left.

No, I'm not planning on staying there. I really only go for a day. With the camping trip, and a few other things, I really can't afford (monetarily and school-wise) knocking out both days in a weekend.

I am so there... we should plan a LOT meet up place ...

I know I should really want to go to Comic-Con, but I've never ever been to an NFFC Convention. Is anyone else going to this?

not only yes but 773H yes! went for the first time a couple years back at the urging of a friend. I'm so hooked now I plan days off for it. (not to mention replenishing my wardrobe there :p )

and I dont even read comics

How do I answer this? I've been to NFFC conventions, and I have been to Comic-con..... more than a few times.
Who have I seen there..... Bornieo, Disneyphile and FrodoPotter, hmm.... who's spouse/partner is an artist.. I forget, but I met her last year, Mousewife and family, to the point that Mousewife's darling daughter, and now new husband were drafted onto my staff. :snap:

MousePod, Bornieo and myself are givens. I realize I just spoke for him, but thats the standard. (and the person who's name I cant remember)
I am sure that MW will show since I will be stealing her child again, otherwise its catch as catch can.
