Swanky Lounge Singer Richard Cheese Retiring!

Think you're on top of the swank? Have you heard of Richard Cheese? If not, then you are missing out!

Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine perform songs you would never imagine as lounge songs in true swanky lounge style. Some of his most well-know lounge remakes include:

Baby Got Back
Down With the Sickness
Ice Ice Baby
Gin & Juice
Brass Monkey

He is retiring at the end of this year so if you want to get in on his swank before it's over check out his site for tour dates and music samples.

His next LA performance:
Friday 6/29/2007
The Derby (Los Angeles)
8:00PM

If you are attending ComicCon:
Friday 7/27/2007
Canes (San Diego)
9:00PM

LOL.

never heard of him but the site is cool.
I fear I fall far short of sufficient swankage to know this one. :snap:

You can easily get samples of his "talent" on iTunes.

Some funny stuff, but he is a one trick pony.

Could be a LoT of fun!

Do you think he'd do a cover of Black Eyed Pea's 'My Humps' like Alanis Morissette did.

Capt Jack 05-16-2007 10:48 AM

omg. the song was plenty annoying enough before....thats just....

thats just reallllly askin for it
(on the other hand, maybe it'll finally make it go away)

The man is a genius.

"Let's Get It Started" on his Apéritif for Destruction cd ... genius.

Alex loves him, he's going to be very sad to hear the guy's retiring.

I thought Alanis was briliant for re-making that song.. she has a good sense of humor... would love to see the cheese...
