New Stuff on Pirates

So I'm sure if this is true that its been covered but i did a search and didnt find anything. I rode Pirates today and noticed two things I thought may be new. First off the canons that fire from land at the ship, has there always been people who fire them that you could see. Also has there always been a parot next to the guy who hangs his dirty foot off the bridge.

Yes and yes.

I think.

The guys at the fort showed up after the big rehab for the ride's 30th birthday

The funny thing is, every time I am at the park, I see something somewhere that I've never noticed before. Then I question whether it is new or not. The last time we were there, I noticed a very old baby carriage across from the bride in the HM attic. It's probably been there since the ride opened but it was new to me. :)

I don't know about "since the beginning," but the parrot has been there for quite some time. He used to have a tattoo on his chest.

Yes and yes. Most definitely.

The parrot was missing for a while, years ago. His audio stayed on for a bit, so we called him the ghost parrot. But he's been back for ages. And the guys at the fort sticking their heads up - they were added years ago. I think it was when they changed the pirates from chasing women to food.

Dude, where have you been? :p

That's a good question--on so many levels.
