Wireless 4-in-1 Power Inverter and FM Transmitter

This is sweet. For about $25 from Costco, my dad got me a 4-in-1 wireless power inverter with built-in transmitter for my car that plugs into the vehicle outlet. And, it's all in a small compact device that can fit in your hand, with no cords to tangle.

Features -
  • 110 standard outlet
  • vehicle outlet (to free up the outlet it's using)
  • standard audio input with FM transmitter
  • USB port for charging iPods while transmitting, etc.
Y'all gotta get one of these. :D They're not available online though - only at the stores. Finally, I can plug in my iPod and cellphone charger at the same time! :snap:

What's wireless about it? You plug it in, things plug into it.

I think the "wireless" refers to the FM transmitter. So if you want to play something from your iPod through your car stereo but don't have a cassette adapter or "audio in" on the face of your stereo, you can wirelessly transmit the signal.

Maybe that refers to the FM transmitter portion.

there's a line-in jack, whatever is on line-in (iPod, etc) gets transmitted at low power on a hopefully unused frequency that your stereo can pick up.

No, I think it's the FM transmitter that's wireless.

The FM transmitter, wireless or not, it the least intriguing thing about this device to me, Having a USB charger is cool as is an outlet. Being able to charge my bluetooth, my phone AND my iPod at the same time is sweet (I use a cassette to play my iPod through the car stereo). Now, who wants to take me to Cosco?
