Anyway, I remember the 1982 Tab commercial. Good old Tab. The young folks to-day would never believe us old fogies --- but there was a time when ordering a Tab said something about a person. It wasn't a cola, it was a lifestyle. It was a revolt against the Pepsi generation and all its concupiscences.

Amen, Amen, I say to you, but there were parts of the world that knew nothing else but its sweet no calorie taste. Indeed, I can still recall, many times, hearing a waittress say, Sorry, hun, we don't serve Coke, Pepsi, Coffee or Irish. Just Tab.

During those times, I would just ask for a glass of ice water, cause I didn't have a taste for Tab myself. I was a Fresca man.

I remember when our summer vacation treat was getting a soda. It was always either Fresca or Tab.

I have a set of Tab glasses and a Tab clock. I was completely bummed when I went to Germany for a year and no Tab, only Coca-Cola Light. Luckily Spain had Tab so I stocked up on a trip there.

I just wish I could find Tab in a glass bottle....to me it tasted better that way.
