Replacing Ink Cartridges

I've always replaced my cartridges with the genuine product. Granted, I purchase it online, so that I can get a better deal, but I know there are better deals to be had with the refurbished and refilled versions.

Do you guys have any opinions or experiences with the refurb injet cartridges for newer printers?

I always use generic ink for both of my Epson ink-jets and my Samsung laser printer (at work). I'm sure if I was doing photographic prints for long-term preservation, I'd use official ink, but for my needs, the ink I get at supermediastore.com is just fine.

I buy generic ink off eBay for my Epson. Last time I got 3 b/w and 3 color for $20 including shipping. Haven't had a problem yet.

I buy brand name cartridges from staples. They've got a great deal that includes all 4 color refills and the black plus 100 sheets of 4x6 photo paper for $30. Sold seperately, the ink is $10 a piece.

If you save your old inks, they'll give you $3 coupon for each one and you can use up to 3 at a time. So that brings the price down to $21 for the all ink for a photo printer that does very nicy photos.

For other things I use a color laser printer and I've got no options except expensive toner. Luckily it doesn't need replacing very often.

What brand of printers is this deal for?

They also got really specific on brands of the empty cartridges they take back :(
