Jules Verne Maps
Ahoy, €uro!
Whilst perusing the wonderful links at boingboing this morning, I came across this site that contains scans of all of the maps originally found in the original editions of the works of Jules Verne. Neat! |
Those are cool. I didn't know the French didn't use Greenwich as the Prime Meridian until 1911.
|
Wow, there are a LoT of Jules Verne novels I've never even heard of!
|
Coincidently I just happen to be in the middle of a Jules Verne Novel right now:
The Mysterious Island. Just got done reading the part where they named the Island and its' major features. |
How very cool! - I too, was unaware that he wrote so many other books
|
Actually... quite a few are missing. He wrote 54 novels.
