A friend of mine sent me an email about this, and it cracks me up! they have samples on iTunes as well as the site that I linked.

If I have babies, this is what we'll be listening to.

The Led Zepplin cover is hilarious



The samples are great. They remind me of the theme music at Paradise Pier.

Somehow, "I Wanna Be Sedated" just works.

I also highly recommend The Bottle Let Me Down.

Definitely a step above Kidz Bop <shudder> but still, only the originals are good enough for my babies.

Ahh, but will the originals help said tot go to sleep?

Luckily for me, I'm a big fan of jazz and classical styles, so I wouldn't have resorted to standard lullaby tunes, though this could be a change up depending on my mood.

Coldplay, Pink Floyd, and certain Radiohead, sure. ;) In high school I had a friend who said his mom sang The Beatles' Good Night every night to him when he was young, and that always struck me as awesome. My mom didn't do much lullabying, but I sure know I'm going to be singing to my kids.
