14yo passes out, dies on R 'n' R Coaster in Paris
|
Aw, that is a sad way to end your day at the park.
I wonder if she was scared to ride it but did anyways? You know, someone so scared could give themselves a heart attack or maybe quit breathing out of fear. I know people with bad hearts still go on rides with warnings but I think they aren't scared and that helps keep their hearts from giving them a problem, does this seem a possibility? I know my dad had a bad heart but he loved the Corkscrew @ Knotts'. All he had after was a big smile. I doubt if the ride was anyway at fault. Very sad. Did you see the link on the page about the firefighter ladders being too short to rescue the people on the roller coaster? How fortunate for those people that it was a power failure and that they had a back up generator. |
Most of the time these turn out to be something like a latent brain aneurysm, pushed over the edge by the g-forces of the ride.

Wow, too bad he had to die so young ... and on the suckiest coaster in the known universe.

She.

Well this is very sad.
Poor kid, at least she left the planet in one of the happiest places on earth. I hope that everything prior to the ride was awesome for her. |

wow...gone at 14. just when things are about to get really good :( |
At that age, my guess would be preexisting heart condition.

Poor kid! :(
At first though, I thought she died on Indy or Space Mtn since writer named the wrong theme park & didn't correct himself til the end. Sucks either way. |
Vekoma takes another victim...
