I am going to be volunteering at the DGA for that week which gets me free tickets and a free membership for next year...

Alot of cool shorts, full feature films, documentaries and even a sing a long screening of Dreamgirls at the Ford Amphitheatre and showings at the Disney Hall downtown... Way cool!

If anyone goes, come up to the hospitality desk at the DGA and say hi to me!!!!

I need recommendations. They are all just titles to me.

And, gay as I may be, I'm not really big on queer cinema. So I need to be prompted to see something specific, with a friendly recommendation of quality.

I could hit something on the later end of that. Ditto on "needs recommendations."

Tangent - a gay couple that frequents our library checked this movie out the other day, leaving me impressed with our librarians for purchasing it.
