Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Less than three weeks left. Discuss.

AAAACCCK!!! YAY! (insert excitement here)

I'm sooo looking forward to it, as I am the movie that's coming out in a week and a half.

What Blueerica said! :)

I'm so looking forward to the book (and the movie, too)

I love the movies for the eye candy, but I really do enjoy the books, very easy to get immersed totally.

I have no theory on the ending, in fact, I have not revisted the last two books prior to release (as is usual for me). I don't want to remember everything that happened before in such detail and just want to go into the book cold with no expectations.

I'm looking forward to being curled up on the couch with my kitty and turning pages as fast as I can!

I can't believe it's going to be so soon... For both. It seems like I've been waiting in anticipation for so long that I didn't see the dates sneaking up on me. I'll be catching the movie when I get out to Utah, and curling up with the book, reading with fervor so that it doesn't get too late into the late summer session by the time I'm done.

I do the exact opposite. I re-read all the previous books before the new one comes out so I have it all fresh in my mind. I'm halfway through book 4 right now. Yikes I'd better get busy.

If you're of the less than rabid fan base and don't need to own your own copy at the stroke of midnight, you can always reserve a copy at the library. Even if there are a lot of people waiting, most everyone reads it in one day and gets it back quickly. Last time I actually got it morning of. Hmm, guess I need to get my name on that list.

Oh, me too, normally. For whatever reason I can't explain, I just want to sit down with it, cold and let the chips fall where they may.

Regardless, I'm very excited to see how things end up! The movie in the same month is just extra candy under my pillow. Hopefully with much more Snape (Alan Rickman, sigh)....

I'm doing the same this time as well mostly because I didn't enjoy the last two books

Hmm, well with me it's not even so much rabid fan (ha, my third post in this thread...) but I do love the tactile sensuality of my books. Even the Harry Potter books, I love to admire them on the shelves.

Sigh, it is bad to have the collector gene, I'm getting better, but it's been a long hard road and I'm not at the end yet! So, yes, I've had it pre-ordered from day one.

Put me in the "read the first six right before the new one comes out" camp. Like Katie, I am in the middle of book four.
