Anyone up for a fishing trip?
 

Im contemplating a fishing trip to Convict Lake out near mammoth. Not exactly sure when, but likely before the end of summer/early fall or so.

Anyone else interested?

Only if we are going for fish tacos.

I've pretty much burned up my vacation time this year.

yeah, thats the thing. most folks are in that boat. I however still have a surplus I need to burn off. so its fishing or a cruise. just putting out a few feelers to see if anyone would have interest in the fishing side of things.

Convict Lake is so beautiful! We drove up there one afternoon and it started snowing. We just sat in the car watching the snow pile up on the trees.

You know, if you're into cruising... a few of us are doing 2 weeks through the Panama Canal (westbound) on Disney next year :)

yeah, I love it. the place has a bit of personal historical significance for me.

I suppose Big Bear or Arrowhead could work too though.

as far as 'into cruising'...never been on one.

Well, it's still sold out at the moment, but expect a few spots to come open as money starts coming due, probably January or February. I don't know if DCL has a wait list or not...

Yes they have a wait list....about 10 miles long!
